High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs DEN – $9,800): Needs 45.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against Denver. I don’t know what you’re going to get out of Aldridge because it’s LaMarcus Aldridge. The minutes and shots will be there but he needs to get hot in the post and getting hot in the post isn’t exactly the best strategy in the playoffs. And Denver just hasn’t allowed him to get going in this series. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Jokic (at SA – $11,600): Needs 56.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. Jokic is the stronger option, although if you make him your Captain, you really need a big game out of him. He can deliver because he’s delivered for the majority of the series. He can do a bit of everything and is always a triple-double threat. Whether he’s your captain or not, Jokic is definitely a guy you can build around in this game. Diagnosis:

Paul Millsap (at SA – $7,600): Needs 35.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Millsap hasn’t exactly delivered in this series but we do know that he can produce. And he’s a guy who knows how to step up in this moment. But his style isn’t always big in DFS because he gets the secondary assist or plays defense or does the dirty work that just doesn’t show up in the boxscore. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
