3. Denver Broncos

This landing spot might surprise some, but the Broncos still have a good defense, and they also have promising young skill players on offense. While their offensive line is not great, that could improve enough to be decent. What we don’t know about the Broncos is how their new coach, Vic Fangio, will manage the offensive side of the ball, particularly with an unproven offensive coordinator in the fold. But the Broncos only have Flacco at quarterback, and they would be wise to get a young player to develop under him. Rosen could learn from a quarterback with some similarities to himself, before his time came to take over.

4. Los Angeles Chargers

Phillip Rivers has toyed with retirement before, and this happens to be the last year of his deal. With a horde of children at home and having banked over $200 million, Rivers may well decide to hang up his cleats. If so, the Chargers would jump to the top preferred landing spot on this list. The Chargers have one of the best rosters in the league, an up and coming coach, and nothing behind Rivers at quarterback. Rosen could do a lot worse than this spot.

5. Washington Redskins

Despite the poor showing last year, the Redskins have a good roster, including a very good defense and some nice pieces on offense. Derrius Guice is a great young running back who was injured before the season last year, but could become the quarterback’s best friend with his rushing ability. Jay Gruden is a decent coach who has looked worse the last few years due to Washington’s huge number of injuries. And with Alex Smith looking doubtful to play again, the opportunity is there.

With the way the Cardinals have treated Rosen, sort of letting him dangle in the wind, it is fair to wonder whether Rosen would prefer to stay with the team and what he knows or be shipped off for a fresh start. Though the wounds would heal up quickly if the Kyler Murray thing was all a ruse and the Cardinals do not select a quarterback, that seems unlikely. The five teams above give Rosen the best chance to move on from this and still flourish in the NFL.
