7. Ole Miss OT Greg Little

At first, Greg Little was projected to be a first-round pick in a similar bracket as, say, Jonah Williams, but he had a poor NFL Combine performance. Little ran a 5.33 forty with a 25-inch vertical jump, and those testing numbers moved him outside of the first-round discussion.

But Little is unquestionably one of the top five offensive tackle prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft, and the tackle position is one of the league’s most valuable.

Plenty of teams should be interested in taking a second-round flier on the former Mississippi Rebels star, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers had Little in for visits. Either NFC North team would do wise to show interest in Little, and the Vikings certainly need to think about protecting Kirk Cousins better.

It is encouraging that Little had a better performance at his pro day, even if his numbers still didn’t jump off the page, and he should hear his name called before long in the second round. A team like the Houston Texans could benefit from trading up for Little, as their offensive tackle situation in front of franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson is far from ideal.
