10. Nick Bosa, EDGE, San Francisco 49ers

This was a pick that was written in ink since basically January after it was looking like Kyler Murray to the Cardinals with the first pick. Nick Bosa is the total package at defensive end. There was no one that evaluated the draft that had Bosa lower than their third best player. Defensive ends that can set the edge and play the run with the potential for double-digit sacks are a major asset in the NFL. The only thing that can slow this guy down is injuries, which he and big brother Joey have struggled with throughout their careers.

Not only is Bosa an elite prospect but he fills a major need for the San Francisco 49ers. After adding Dee Ford, essentially on a one-year deal with options, the other side was still bare. Bosa gets plugged in opposite Ford with DeForest Buckner and Arik Armstead in the middle to form a nasty front four. That is the type of group that can help the entire defense especially Kwon Alexander and Fred Warner on the second level.

There were really no other options here for San Francisco. They were not going to get an offer that blew them away and that is what it would have taken to steal Bosa from them. This is a home-run selection for John Lynch and the 49ers. Now they can turn to the offense to try and beef up their offense.
