High Value Guards

Players costing under $8,333

Patrick Beverley (vs GS – $6,200): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46 fantasy points against Golden State. Beverley has been great in the last two games and I don’t know if he can keep it up but I like the way he’s playing right now. And obviously he’s going to get the minutes. He’s shooting well and contributing in other ways. But my confidence isn’t super high on the Clippers. Which is probably foolish of me. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs GS – $5,800): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.75 fantasy points against Golden State. SAG’s minutes were down in the last game which is a bit concerning. We know he has a high ceiling but it’s tough to produce when you’re not on the floor. You have to trust him to get minutes if you take him here. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Landry Shamet (vs GS – $4,400): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.25 fantasy points against Golden State. Shamet is getting the minutes but he isn’t always producing. SAG has the higher ceiling of the two because he’s proven it but Shamet is the more reliable option simply because he seems to be getting the minutes right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
