DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup — April 28, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Kyrie Irving (at MIL – $8,300): Needs 40 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 27.5 fantasy points against Indiana. Expect big things out of Kyrie in this matchup. The Celtics couldn’t buy a win on the road in the playoffs last season because they didn’t have a guy like Kyrie in the lineup. He averaged 42.6 fantasy points in three games against the Bucks this season. Expect more in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Chris Paul (at GS – $6,900): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 37.5 fantasy points against Utah. Chris Paul has been waiting almost a year for the moment that he can finally get playoff revenge on the Warriors. And the Warriors are hurting with injuries and overall team vulnerability. Expect Paul to step up in a big way in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Eric Bledsoe (vs BOS – $6,300): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 32.7 fantasy points against Detroit. We’re cheating right away but it’s my column and I’ll cheat if I want to. Bledsoe was strong in the first round but this as not been his matchup. He averaged 19.8 fantasy points in three games against the Celtics this season. And we can’t forgot the playoffs last season. He’s a risk but the ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Terry Rozier (at MIL – $3,900): Needs 18.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME:17.7 fantasy points against Indiana. Rozier is at a low enough salary where he won’t completely hurt you. And the reason Bledsoe had a rough playoffs last season is because of Rozier. Maybe he’ll play 30 minutes just to ensure Bledsoe is shook. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
