High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Clint Capela (at GS – $6,500): Needs 31.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 38.5 fantasy points against Utah. Capela’s salary has dropped largely due to his up-and-down nature against the Warriors. No Cousins should help his game. He averaged 39.4 fantasy points in four games against the Warriors this season but that number is boosted by a 63.7 fantasy point effort in the OT game. The ceiling is high but the Warriors do a solid job on him usually. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Brook Lopez (vs BOS – $5,600): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 26.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Lopez is hit-and-miss but we know the minutes and opportunities are going to be there for him. He wasn’t good against the Celtics this year, averaging 17.8 fantasy points in three games. That’s a warning sign but the reward is there if he’s blocking and hitting shots. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs HOU – $3,500): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 6 fantasy points against LA Clippers. I don’t like Bogut because I don’t know if he’s going to get the minutes, especially if he doesn’t end up starting. Looney is a guy who should get the minutes and he fits well with what the Warriors like to do. He won’t hurt you at this salary if you want to save money. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
