High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs BOS – $11,500): Needs 47 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 70.3 fantasy points against Detroit. It’s a team that is going to test Giannis Antetokounmpo. Good luck. He averaged 55.3 fantasy points in three games against the Celtics this season. He costs a lot but I fully expect Antetokounmpo to have a huge game because that’s what he does. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Durant (vs HOU – $11,400): Needs 46.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 66.7 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Kevin Durant rolled in the final four games against the Clippers and with Curry and Klay Thompson banged up, it could be Durant’s time to shine against. He wasn’t great against the Rockets this season, averaging 37.4 fantasy points in three games. But he’s Durant. You know what he does. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (at MIL – $5,900): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME: 32.6 fantasy points against Indiana. Gordon Hayward was up-and-down against the Pacers but the minutes are there and he’s looked like the best version of himself in the last month or so. He had 32.3 and 14.6 fantasy points efforts against the Bucks this season. There’s not a lot to like at small forward and Hayward will get the minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Danuel House (at GS – $3,600): Needs 14.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME:13.8 fantasy points against Utah. Danuel House gets decent enough minutes and can contribute in a variety of ways. He has a low floor but a good enough ceiling. And he won’t hurt you at this salary. He’s a nice saver if you’re going to spend elsewhere or on Giannis or KD. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
