High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Tobias Harris (at TOR – $8,500): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Toronto. Harris was good in Game 1 and might be the most reliable option on the Sixers right now. He can do a variety of things and we know he can get hot from the field. The Sixers will be better than they were in Game 1. Maybe that means Harris will take a step back as Butler and Simmons gets it going. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs PHI – $8,300): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.9 fantasy points against Philadelphia. As always, you know what you’re getting with Siakam. He’s a reliable option with a good ceiling based on how well he can score and pick up rebounds. He’s a tough matchup for the Sixers and I trust that he’ll continue to get value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (at DEN – $5,500): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Aminu was solid against the Thunder until the last game, but he was very good against the Nuggets in the regular season, averaging 34.7 fantasy points in four games. This appears to be a good matchup for him and he’s one of the few value players where I have some confidence. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Paul Millsap (vs POR – $4,800): Needs 21 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.4 fantasy points against San Antonio. Millsap hasn’t been good and you might end up going with Ibaka. But Millsap is going to get the minutes. Ibaka is not. Ibaka still might be the more reliable option, but Millsap has the higher ceiling just because of his minutes. He’ll get you something, and maybe hits big. He averaged 33.5 fantasy points in three games against the Blazers this season, including 35.4 fantasy points on Apr. 5. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
