Miami Dolphins. 31. team. 59. . .

2019 Key Additions: General manager Chris Grier wasn’t overly active this offseason in terms of veteran additions. But he did give new head coach Brian Flores a pair of familiar faces in tight end Dwayne Allen and cornerback Eric Rowe – both members of with the New England Patriots in recent seasons – and signed journeyman signal-caller Ryan Fitzpatrick. On the second day of the draft, Grier pulled the trigger and traded for Cardinals’ quarterback Josh Rosen. Elsewhere, first-round draft choice Christian Wilkins should help the league’s 31st-ranked run defense from a year ago. The Dolphins also added youth to the offensive line via guard Michael Deiter (3-Wisconsin) and tackle Isaiah Prince (6-Ohio State).

Offseason Review: This was a confusing team a year ago, one that got off to a 3-0 start but spent most of the remainder of the season on the very short end of some lopsided losses. But that was then and this is now. And Grier is determined to build this team back up the right way. Gone are quarterback Ryan Tannehill and defensive end Robert Quinn (both traded), as well as longtime pass rusher Cameron Wake and former first-round tackle Ju’Waun James. Then again, the Dolphins have already stockpiled a number of draft choices for 2020. Patience must be exercised here but this is still a team not to be taken lightly.
