The Houston Texans were one of the better teams in all of football last season, reeling off nine straight wins, and claiming the AFC South title. Unfortunately, the Texans found themselves on the losing end at home in the playoffs, as the Indianapolis Colts came to town and beat them in the Wild Card game.

Luckily for Texans fans, this team has enough talent to get back to the playoffs this season, and they added some quality players during the 2019 NFL Draft. The AFC South is going to be one of the best in football next season, as all four teams have made the playoffs at least once over the last two seasons.

Looking ahead, Houston needs to do something about the running back position, and they could get a very good player in the person of Jonathan Taylor from Wisconsin. An absolute beast at the running back spot, Taylor has been a workhorse during his time with the Badgers, and his game certainly equates to the NFL level.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson is a solid signal-caller, and he is only going to get better as he gets more experience. This is a team whose window is closing a bit, as J.J. Watt is starting to get up there in age, but they also have the talent to be a perennial playoff contender as long as Watson is healthy.
