Purdue. Lorenzo Neal. 19. player. 44. . Defensive Tackle

The Atlanta Falcons were one of those teams that really disappointed last season, as they failed to make the playoffs only two years removed from playing in the Super Bowl. In fact, the team took a step back the year before, and has been on a steady decline since blowing that 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots.

Fortunately for Falcons fans, this is a team that has a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, and should be right back in the mix for a playoff spot in 2019. They have arguably the best wideout in the NFC in Julio Jones, a solid quarterback in Matt Ryan, and their defense has some big-name players as well.

During the 2020 NFL Draft, Atlanta should focus on that side of the ball, as they need to  bring in more talent at the defensive tackle position. One of the more elite defensive tackles in this draft class is Lorenzo Neal, whose family just happens to know a thing or two about life playing in the NFL.

Neal has that NFL pedigree, as his father played in the league for 16 seasons as a punishing fullback for eight different teams. The younger Neal plays with that same kind of force, and along this Atlanta defensive line, he would team very well with Grady Jarrett for the foreseeable future.
