DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 30, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Kyrie Irving (at MIL – $8,400): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I’m always going to trust Kyrie, especially on the road against tough teams. I have no doubt about him showing up in these games because he’s proven that he will always show up in these games. Until he gives you a reason to doubt him, keep taking him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Chris Paul (at GS – $7,000): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Chris Paul will be better in Game 2. I actually expect him to be very good in Game 2. He’s simply better than he showed in Game 1 and the Rockets need a big performance out of him if they want to earn the split. This is his chance to step up and he will. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Eric Bledsoe (vs BOS – $5,800): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Boston. Bledsoe’s salary has dropped in a big way because, for some reason, he just can’t play against the Celtics. I don’t know what it is but he’s just invisible out there. Maybe he turns it around. The ceiling is still pretty high. But we need to see something. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
Terry Rozier (at MIL – $4,100): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. One reason Bledsoe can’t get it going is Rozier, who is living rent-free. That’s still a thing, right? While Bledsoe can’t do anything against the Celtics, Rozier just torches the Bucks. He’s a low-cost option with a proven matchup. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
