High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at GS – $10,100): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55 fantasy points against Golden State. You typically know what you’re getting out of Harden. Not enough foul calls in his favor, obviously. In all seriousness, he’s a reliable option but you need a little bit more from him out of this salary. His shooting struggles are a bit of a concern, but he’ll always get his points and other numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Stephen Curry (vs HOU – $7,900): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Houston. Maybe the ankle is bothering Curry but either way, he’s doing enough to be around value. His lower salary certainly helps. And he can always get hot because he’s Steph Curry. You can take him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Klay Thompson (vs HOU – $5,900): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Houston. Klay seems to be a reliable option if nothing else at this point. And we know he can explode for a big game because he’s Klay friggin’ Thompson and he’s one of the best shooters in NBA history. But the ankle might be a concern. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Eric Gordon (at GS – $5,300): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37 fantasy points against Golden State. Gordon is always a streaky player. He looked great in Game 1 but he could easily fall off in Game 2 because that’s just what he does. But the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
