High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Paul Millsap (vs POR – $8,000): Needs 37.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Portland. Good Millsap showed up in Game 1. Which version of Millsap will show up in Game 2? It truly beats me. As I said prior to Game 1, the minutes are going to be there and we know he can do a bit of everything. His salary has jumped and that should scare you a bit. But he can hit at a good cost. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Jokic (vs POR – $13,200): Needs 63.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 67.75 fantasy points against Portland. Jokic continues to deliver in the playoffs. The Blazers don’t really have an answer for him and they won’t have an answer for him in this series. He needs a big game if you’re going to take him in the captain spot because it’s a hefty price. But he can deliver a big game because that’s how good he is. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Enes Kanter (at DEN – $9,000): Needs 43 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.25 fantasy points against Denver. Kanter looked healthy in Game 1 and he will continue to get the minutes for Blazers because he’s their best option against Jokic. Production is never an issue for him as long as he is getting the minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
