20. Colorado Rockies, 13-17, 4th in the NL West (ranked 22nd last week)

The Rockies offense has started to wake up with Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story starting to hit the ball with authority, but despite the run production, Colorado is only .500 in their last 10 games. Their bullpen has turned into a real weapon late in games with closer Wade Davis and his 0.90 ERA, and the rotation has been much better as of late. If you remove Tyler Anderson and his gaudy 11.34 ERA, the rest of the group is encouraging led by young ace German Marquez. If Colorado can continue to get better in the rotation and the offense can start hitting the long ball, the Rockies could start to climb back into relevancy.

19. Cleveland Indians, 16-12, 2nd in the AL Central (ranked 16th last week)

Trevor Bauer and the Cleveland rotation have been worth 3.8 fWAR, the best in the league at this point, and are the entire reason the Indians have a winning record on the season. Their offense still can’t buy a run, scoring the 3rd fewest runs in the league thus far, but they’ve only had Francisco Lindor back for 8 games. The Indians pitchers need more run support or the Twins will eventually run away with this division.
