High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Kawhi Leonard (at PHI – $11,200): Needs 51.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. You can keep taking Kawhi because you know what you’re getting out of Kawhi. And I expect even more out of him on the road. The road is when the star players shine and I still maintain that Kawhi is the best player in this series. The captain spot is going to cost you a lot, but the extra points might be worth it for you. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at PHI – $9,800): Needs 46.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. I still have zero concerns about Siakam Either he’s going to score or he’s going to make up that value elsewhere. He’s been reliable all season and there’s no reason to think he will be slowing down now. He makes for a good Captain if you want to save a little bit of money and get strong production. Either way, he’s a confident addition to your team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Joel Embiid (vs TOR – $11,000): Needs 52.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Toronto. Embiid just can’t find his footing in this series. A lot of that likely has to do with the knee injury but I also believe the Raptors have done a nice job of taking him away. With the Sixers at home, they should get a big boost from the crowd and Embiid is a guy who feeds off that energy. The ceiling remains high but he’s a risk right now simply because he hasn’t shown anything in this series. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
