High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Tobias Harris (vs TOR – $8,800): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Harris was down just a bit in Game 2 as his scoring was down but he’s doing great with his rebounding, which seems like it will continue to be there for him. He’s a good salary given his production and his ceiling and could be used as a Captain as a salary saver who can still produce strong. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

James Ennis III (vs TOR – $3,200): Needs 14.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Toronto. The potential return of Mike Scott could hurt Ennis in this spot, which is my only concern. He should still get decent enough minutes but Scott is going to take opportunities away from him. But as a low-cost option, he’s a decent bet. You can also look towards Scott, who will be another low-cost option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Marc Gasol (at PHI – $6,800): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Gasol is what he is at this point, but that’s not a bad thing. He’s going to get minutes and he’s going to produce numbers. Not big numbers, but still numbers. And every number counts. Norman Powell and Serge Ibaka are your only other decent value options for the Raptors. And they aren’t much of options right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
