High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at BOS – $10,200): Needs 46.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.75 fantasy points against Boston. Giannis looked like Giannis in Game 2 because, as always, you can’t hold down great players in the playoffs. The Celtics will adjust but now that the series is in Boston, this is a time for superstars to step up in the playoffs on the road. Giannis will be fine. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at BOS – $6,800): Needs 30.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.25 fantasy points against Boston. The Celtics still have no answer for Middleton. He’s never had a bad game in his entire life against the Celtics. Even on 2K. Until I see him miss a shot against the Celtics, just trust him to keep getting it done. They will definitely need him on the road. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jaylen Brown (vs MIL – $5,200): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Brown has stepped up in this series for the Celtics. I still worry that the Boston role players are going to be up-and-down all series and I expect more out of Jayson Tatum with the series moving to Boston. But Brown has been the guy who has gotten it done for the Celtics. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Rodney Hood (vs DEN – $3,900): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.75 fantasy points against Denver. Hood keeps getting it done for the Blazers and if Harkless doesn’t end up playing in this game, it should help the value of Hood, who can replace his scoring to an extent. He won’t won’t replace his defense, of course. He remains at a great salary considering the production he’s giving you right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
