High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Jokic (at POR – $10,300): Needs 49.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Portland. Jokic was slightly down in Game 2 but I’m not concerned about him. If his teammates could hit some shots, that would certainly help. He’ll be better in Game 3 because the Nuggets should shoot slightly better in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Enes Kanter (vs DEN – $6,300): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Denver. Kanter is getting it done for the playoffs, much to the surprise of pretty much everyone. It looks like he’ll be able to stay on the floor in this series and if he can stay on the floor, he’ll continue to get his numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Brook Lopez (at BOS – $4,700): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Boston. The addition of Nikola Mirotic almost lessens the role of Lopez as it adds more spacing but can take away shots from Lopez. He still has a high ceiling but the lineup change makes me like him a little bit less Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (at BOS – $3,900): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Boston. Speaking of Mirotic. The addition of him in the starting lineup paid off in a big way for the Bucks in Game 2. He can get inside and also space the floor with his shooting. He’s at a great salary if he’s going to remain in the starting lineup and play alongside Giannis. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
