FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 3, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Damian Lillard (vs DEN – $9,900): Needs 42.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Denver. Lillard wasn’t good in Game 2. Don’t be concerned with that. He’s Damian Lillard and he’s back at home. He’ll be better in Game 3. He’s still a guy who you can confidently build around because there isn’t much you can do to slow down great players in the playoffs when it comes to getting numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyrie Irving (vs MIL – $9,600): Needs 41.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Everything said about Lillard applies to Kyrie. I’m not concerned with his Game 2 production. It sucks if you had him on your team for Game 2, but that shouldn’t deter you from taking him in Game 3. He’s still the second best player in this series and the best scorer in the series. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Eric Bledsoe (at BOS – $7,400): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.1 fantasy points against Boston. Murray will probably end up playing before it’s the playoffs. But I don’t like him quite as much on the road. Bledsoe finally learned he can score against the Celtics but there are still concerns with him in this game because you shouldn’t crown him after one game. Especially now that he’s back in. Boston. Proceed with caution. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Terry Rozier (vs MIL – $4,300): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.6 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Rozier continues to make the most out of his minutes because the Bucks have no answer for Scary Terry. This continues to be his matchup and with the series back in Boston, he should continue to produce at a good salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
