High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at BOS – $11,300): Needs 46.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.8 fantasy points against Boston. Giannis looked more like himself in Game 2 because you can only contain him for so long. As I always say in the playoffs, superstars step up on the road. The series moves to Boston and this will be Giannis’ time to step up in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (vs MIL – $5,700): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Hayward wasn’t good in Game 2 but most of the Celtics weren’t good in Game 2. Expect him to be better as the series moves to Boston. He’s a streaky player in the playoffs but I suspect he’ll have a bounce-back game in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (at BOS – $4,400): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.8 fantasy points against Boston. Mirotic drew the start in. Game 2 and it paid off in a big way as he can get inside and stretch the floor. I suspect he’ll draw the start in. Game 3 as well. The Celtics will adjust but he’s at a good salary and the more time with Giannis, the better. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Rodney Hood (vs DEN – $3,500): Needs 14.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.6 fantasy points against Denver. I was in on Hood before Game 2 and he didn’t let me down. He’s still Rodney Hood, which is a bit concerning, but he’s playing very well right now and the series moving home should certainly help him. He remains at a great salary given his play right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
