High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs GS – $10,200): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.25 fantasy points against Golden State. I expected Harden to have a big Game 3 and he delivered with a big Game 3. He’ll need to be just as good in Game 4 because I don’t know if Eric Gordon can do it again or if Chris Paul is going to show up in the way that the Rockets need him to show up. You can always go with Harden especially at home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Stephen Curry (at HOU – $7,700): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Houston. It’s been a rough series for Steph with his shooting but he keeping doing enough in other categories to at least be around value. His salary has dropped a bit, which also helps his cause. And he still Steph. Count him out and he can come up huge. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Klay Thompson (at HOU – $6,200): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Houston. Klay has been consistent in this series even though he’s still not shooting the ball particularly well. His rebounding and defense have been key in his production in this series. And we know he can get hot from the field. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Eric Gordon (vs GS – $5,600): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.5 fantasy points against Golden State. As always, Gordon comes with some risk because he can go invisible if he’s unable to score. But he also has a huge ceiling if he is able to get all the baskets like he did in Game 3. I will always like him more at home but proceed with some caution. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
