High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Al Horford (vs MIL – $6,500): Needs 30.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Horford looked more like himself against the Bucks in Game 3. And while it didn’t translate to a win, we aren’t concerned with who wins and loses in DFS. We are only concerned with our wins and losses. Horford should come out strong in Game 4. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs GS – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Capela has been solid in the last two games and he’s dropped to a very good salary, which certainly helps. He will continue to get the minutes and even though his DFS numbers were down from Game 2 to Game 3, his impact was actually greater. He’s a reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Brook Lopez (at BOS – $4,400): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.5 fantasy points against Boston. I don’t know if Lopez is going to have an impact in this series. His salary has dropped to a very reasonable level, which certainly helps, but it just doesn’t appear to be there for Lopez right now. He could be worth taking a flier on simply because we know he is capable of more. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (at BOS – $4,200): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Boston. Mirotic remains a starter and even though he was a bit down in Game 3, he will continue to get the minutes and opportunities. He’s a good salary saver and he can do more than he showed in Game 3. Adding him to the starting lineup was a big adjustment for the Bucks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
