Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs GS – $11,500): Needs 49.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Harden delivered a strong game in Game 3 and he might need to be even better in Game 4 if the Rockets want to even this series. I’m never going to doubt Harden simply because he has the game that lends itself to putting up huge numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at BOS – $7,500): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.3 fantasy points against Boston. Middleton is as consistent as they come in these playoffs, especially against the Celtics. He just continues to get it done, even if shots aren’t always falling for him. You can take him with confidence based on everything we’ve seen from him and this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Andre Iguodala (at HOU – $6,000): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Houston. Iguodala continues to deliver in this series and I’m not going to doubt him now because he’s given me no reason to doubt him. His salary is a bit on the higher side as far as value guys go but there is value at other positions. And I’ll give you some value options below. But Iguodala is a strong play once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Eric Gordon (vs GS – $5,600): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.4 fantasy points against Golden State. Alright, Gordon isn’t exactly value. If you are looking for value at this position, Connaughton has played very well in the last two games and Austin Rivers is going to get the minutes on a short Rockets squad. As for Gordon, he’s a risk, but the upside is certainly worth it. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
