High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $9,500): Needs 43.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Once again, Kawhi is the best player in this series and you can take him with all the confidence in the world. I have no doubt about his ability in this series or in the playoffs moving forward. He will continue to deliver because that’s what he does. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ben Simmons (at TOR – $6,900): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against Toronto. I still don’t like Simmons in this series and his salary still hasn’t dropped to a reasonable enough level. He’s getting some numbers, but you still need more given the salary and his role on the team. There just isn’t a lot to like here unless you’re playing a more risky lineup. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (at DEN – $4,700): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Denver. Aminu has been solid ever since Game 1 of this series and I’m still not worried about him in this series. He’s been great against the Nuggets all season and there’s no reason to doubt him at this point. He will continue to be a reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with good ceiling.

Will Barton (vs POR – $4,000): Needs 18.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Portland. Will Barton is back, baby. He hasn’t been good at home since Game 1 against San Antonio and a confident Will Barton can be a scary thing. But it looks like he will continue to get the minutes and we know he can produce in a big way, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
