High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jimmy Butler (at TOR – $9,800): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Once again, Butler is my favorite options on the Sixers. The need him to be great in this series and aside from Game 1, he has been great in this series. The salary is climbing, which does hurt his value a bit, but that hurts his ceiling more than his reliability. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

CJ McCollum (at DEN – $7,500): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Denver. Alright, I’m ready to call McCollum reliable in this series. I’ve been worried about his streakiness because that’s who he’s been for most of the season. But he’s elevated his game in these playoffs and deserves respect from me, finally. I apologize, Mr. McCollum. I know you’re trying. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gary Harris (vs POR – $5,400): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Portland. Aside from Game 2, Harris has been very good in this series and we know the minutes are going to be there for him. As a salary saving option, I have no doubt about Harris. He will continue to chip in and find a way to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Danny Green (vs PHI – $4,000): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.8 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Green has been better in the last two games and much like Harris, we know he’s a guy that is going to get minutes. He doesn’t offer the same value as Harris, but he’s also at a lesser salary so he’s not going to hurt you as much. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
