FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 7, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $10,200): Needs 41.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.3 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Kawhi has been the second best player in these playoffs and I have no doubts about him. You can continue to build around him with all the confidence in the world because he will continue to deliver. He’s the best player in this series. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Tobias Harris (at TOR – $7,600): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Harris continues to be a reliable option, even if the ceiling isn’t always there. He has settled to a nice salary and we know he’s going to get the minutes and opportunities. If you want to round out your team and get reliable production, Harris is a good play. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Will Barton (vs POR – $4,700): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against Portland. Thrill has been delivering in the last two games. You would think that he’ll find some comfort in home but he hasn’t been good at home since the first game of the playoffs. He’ll keep getting the minutes and we know he won’t be afraid to take the shots. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
James Ennis III (at TOR – $4,400): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20 fantasy points against Toronto. This is a good value position as both Redick and Hood offer some value as well. I like Ennis because he’s been a reliable salary saver at this position. He’s finding ways to contribute and he’s at the best salary of the bunch. But the other two have higher ceilings. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
