32 college football players destined to be future first round NFL Draft picks
24. CeeDee Lamb – Wide receiver, Oklahoma
Be prepared to see a lot of wide receivers on this list as the 2020 class, in particular, is shaping up to be on par with the 2014 draft class possibly. That group featured names like Odell Beckham Jr., Mike Evans, Jarvis Landry, Davante Adams, and Brandin Cooks.
First up is Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb who despite putting up huge stats his first two seasons in Norman has kind of been the forgotten name on offense. Hollywood Brown received most of the admiration within the 2018 receiver group, but Lamb was no slouch catching 65 passes for 1158 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Lamb has everything you want in a receiver with his blend of size, speed, and strength. When there is a jump ball, you can bet Lamb is going to come down with it, and his awareness along the sideline is some of the best you’ll see from a college receiver. And if anyone wants to talk trash, Lamb is more than ready to do so.
Even with Jalen Hurts as the new quarterback in Oklahoma don’t expect Lamb to fall off because he can win on all three levels of the field. And as he showed in his great performance against Alabama in the Orange Bowl, no competition is too fierce for him.
