DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 9, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Jamal Murray (at POR – $6,900): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.25 fantasy points against Portland. Murray just keeps delivering in this series and I have no doubt about him in Game 6. He’s proven that he can step up on the road and the Nuggets are abusing Kanter on defense. His shot is there and if his shot is there, he will keep knocking them down. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
CJ McCollum (vs DEN – $6,800): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Denver. McCollum was down in a big way in Game 5 but the Blazers just got ran off the floor, so what can you do? He will be better in what could be the final game of the series for the Blazers. And his salary has dropped, which certainly helps. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Gary Harris (at POR – $4,900): Needs 22 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Portland. Harris has been great for most of this series and most of the playoff run for the Nuggets. The minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him and if you’re looking at one value guy who you can rely on, Harris has to be at the top of the list. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Danny Green (at PHI – $4,400): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Green showed up in a big way in Game 5 and he’s a guy on Toronto who is immune to the Toronto playoff stigma simply because he is more Spurs than Raptors. The minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
