High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Pascal Siakam (at PHI – $7,100): Needs 33.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Siakam looked healthier in Game 5 which is good news for his value in Game 6. He still has to be a slight concern because injuries are tricky, especially in the playoffs, but his salary isn’t bad and we know he’s going to get the minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Tobias Harris (vs TOR – $6,400): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Once again, Harris is just a guy. He’s not going to hurt you because he’ll find a way to get numbers but you shouldn’t expect a big outing out of him either. He’s a solid hand if you’re looking for stability but probably won’t win your league. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs DEN – $4,700): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19 fantasy points against Denver. Aminu wasn’t good in Game 5 but his minutes were down in the blowout. It’s tough to know how a team comes back from a blowout but I would imagine that the Blazers will respond with a good outing because they have plenty of pride. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at PHI – $4,100): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 11.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. The return of Siakam put a damper on the big game I had planned for Ibaka. He’s still getting more minutes, which is a good sign. The ceiling is high but he’s not the most reliable option just because he hasn’t shown in throughout the playoffs. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
