High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul Millsap (at POR – $8,100): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.6 fantasy points against Portland. Millsap has dominated this series and shows no signs of slowing down. His ceiling is still a bit more limited due to the higher ceiling but he’s turned into a very reliable option because the Blazers have absolutely no answer for him. He should deliver once more in this series. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at PHI – $7,700): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.1 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Siakam certainly looked more healthy in Game 5 and that’s good news for the Raptors. Playoff injuries can be tricky because if a guy has a good game, he’s healthy. But if he struggles, he’s still injured. So don’t trust the big game just yet. He’s less reliable because I don’t put stock into injuries like that but his ceiling is good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs DEN – $5,400): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.8 fantasy points against Denver. It’s wasn’t Portland’s night in Game 5 but I expect better out of them in this game. This could be their last stand and Aminu has proven he can step up in these spots. He and the Blazers are too good to struggle in the same manner unless the Nuggets have everything figured out. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at PHI – $4,600): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 10.4 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Ibaka got more minutes but Siakam being healthy at the last minute changed his projection. He’ll keep getting minutes and opportunities because he’s shown he can make an impact in this series but he’s not exactly reliable. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
