NBA Playoffs 2019: Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 6 live stream: Watch online
By Ian Levy
The Philadelphia 76ers face elimination in Game 6 at the hands of the Toronto Raptors. Here’s all the information you need to watch along.
The 76ers find themselves in the unfortunate position of needing to win two games to advance past the Raptors. A loss in Game 6 would end their season in the same place it ended last season — the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Philadelphia made several big win-now moves during the season, trading for Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris. To make those moves and have mortgaged assets only to stall out in the same spot would be incredibly disappointing.
The 76ers will need more from Joel Embiid in Game 6 if they’re going to hold off Philadelphia. Battling illness, Embiid managed just 13 points and had 8 turnovers in Game 5. The 76ers were outscored by 15 when he was on the floor, the first game all season that they didn’t win Embiid’s minutes. Even if he can’t be at his best, they need him to make an impact and get some help from Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Butler and Harris.
The Raptors have been riding Kawhi Leonard who is averaging an absurd 34.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, shooting 59.0 percent from the field in the series. Collectively, the Raptors just played perhaps the best game in franchise history, with the entire starting lineup finally stepping up. They’re riding momentum and looking forward to finishing off a key rival as early as possible.
