High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Stephen Curry (at HOU – $10,400): Needs 48.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against Houston. With Kevin Durant out of the lineup, it’s about to be the Steph Curry show. His shot hasn’t been there for most of the series but it came alive after Durant got hurt. Curry will get more shots and opportunities now, it’s just a matter of him capitalizing on those opportunities. I wouldn’t doubt him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

James Harden (vs GS – $11,800): Needs 53.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Harden was criticized for being too passive at the end of Game 5 but I’m not worried about him. He will continue to get his numbers in this series and with the Warriors down a good defender, Harden can find mismatches easier than before. He will deliver in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at HOU – $8,400): Needs 37.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Houston. Klay came alive in Game 5 and now we’re about to see Game 6 Klay aka the scariest man who has ever played in the playoffs. With Durant out of the lineup, Klay will get more opportunities. And now that he’s seemingly found his shot, this should be a huge night for Klay at a good salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
