High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Draymond Green (at HOU – $10,000): Needs 46.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Houston. Green has been very good in this series and he’ll have to be better with Durant out of the lineup. The Warriors should get back to running more motion offense, which means Green becomes even more important as he’ll be whipping the ball around to Curry and Klay. He’ll also get numbers in every other category. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

PJ Tucker (vs GS – $7,200): Needs 33.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Tucker has been fantastic in this series and he’s another guy who I just don’t worry about in this spot. He will continue to deliver and he won’t have to expend quite as much energy on the defensive enough with Durant out of the lineup. He’s a good captain pick with his salary and production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs GS – $6,200): Needs 29 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Golden State. With Tucker playing better at the five, there just isn’t much for Capela to do. He’s still getting decent enough minutes but he isn’t doing enough to justify this salary. He’s a nice low-cost option and maybe with Durant out of the lineup, Capela will have some more success in the paint and on the board. But he’s not the most reliable guy at the moment given his overall play. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
