FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 10, 2019
High Salary Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $12,000
Draymond Green (at HOU – $14,500): Needs 62.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.9 fantasy points against Houston. As always, you know what you’re getting out of Draymond. He’s been steady in this series and he’s shown a high ceiling with his ability to get numbers in all categories. With Durant out, it means Draymond will run more of the offense and that’s probably a good thing for the Warriors. He should be in your top 3. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
PJ Tucker (vs GS – $11,500): Needs 49.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Golden State. I have no worries about Tucker. He’s been fantastic outside of Game 1 and the Rockets have really found something with him at the center position. And with Durant out, he’ll have more room in the paint and won’t have to work as hard on defense. Tucker will deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Clint Capela (vs GS – $11,000): Needs 46 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.3 fantasy points against Golden State. This just hasn’t been the series for Capela and I still don’t like him heading into Game 6. Maybe with Durant out the dynamic changes a bit but the Warriors offense could be tougher for Capela to hang with if he continues to look as slow as he’s looked thus far. And this salary is too high for the production he’s given you right now. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.
