DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup — May 12, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $9,500): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Kawhi will deliver in this game. He’s been great during this series and he will need to step up one more time in Game 7. And he’ll do it. He’s been the best player in this series and arguably in the playoffs. You can build around him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Pascal Siakam (vs PHI – $7,000): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Siakam has been consistent all season and aside from a rough Game 4, he’s been consistent in this series. His price has dropped and he should be at value if nothing else given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Tobias Harris (at TOR – $6,200): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.75 fantasy points against Toronto. I love Harris at this price. I don’t know how Harris slipped below the salary line given how consistent he’s been in this series. But you should definitely take advantage of it, because he’s at great value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
James Ennis III (at TOR – $3,700): Needs 16.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Toronto. Ennis has been a consistent performer in this series outside of Game 5 when the Sixers had nothing going. There are guys who may have a high ceiling (Ibaka, Harkless, Aminu) but Ennis is the reliable option of the bunch and flashed a decent enough ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
