FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup — May 12, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $10,400): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.9 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Kawhi will deliver in Game 7, I have no doubt. I’m expecting a huge outing from Kawhi on Sunday because he’s still the best player on the court. You can build around Kawhi knowing he’s going to be 10-plus fantasy points over value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Tobias Harris (at TOR – $7,400): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.3 fantasy points against Toronto. Harris has been consistent in this series and if you’re not going to spend on Kawhi, Harris should definitely be in your lineup. The money should be there even if you go with a guy like Jokic at center. Harris will get you value if nothing else, but more likely he’ll be around 35 fantasy points once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Rodney Hood (at DEN – $4,800): Needs 18.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.8 fantasy points against Denver. I’ve been in on Rodney Hood all series so I hope I’ve made someone out there a little bit of money. He’s been great this series and he’ll need to step up one more time if the Blazers want to pull off the upset. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
James Ennis III (at TOR – $4,400): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.1 fantasy points against Toronto. Aside from Game 5, Ennis has been consistent in this series. Will Barton may have the higher ceiling but he’s also Will Barton. And Redick just hasn’t deliver. Ennis has a lot to prove on the road but the minutes and opportunities will certainly be there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
