High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $12,000

Maurice Harkless (at GS – $9,000): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Denver. Harkless saw his minutes drop at the end of the Denver series but it’s a new series and Harkless will be more important to this team than Hood or Turner. Though if Hood plays, he did prove himself capable of stepping up and earned some goodwill. Look for Harkless to impact this series similar to how he impacted the Thunder series. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Zach Collins (at GS – $9,500): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.5 fantasy points against Denver. Collins made himself playable by the end of the Denver series and I expect that will continue against the Warriors because I don’t see many minutes for Kanter in this series. Collins isn’t great and there is no guarantee he plays. But I find him more reliable than Kanter, at least in Game 1. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs POR – $8,500): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Houston. Looney gave the Warriors strong production in place of Kevin Durant and that should continue. He’s Durant but he can get easy buckets in the Warriors offense and comes up with plenty of rebounds. He’s at a good salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
