DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 16, 2019
High Salary Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $8,333
Draymond Green (vs POR – $9,800): Needs 43.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Portland. You know what you’re getting with Draymond. He’s a very reliable option and he’s going to get numbers in all categories. I don’t even think he played that well in Game 1 and still delivered with some strong numbers. I still like him slightly more than Klay simply because he’s not as reliant on one category. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Enes Kanter (at GS – $7,400): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Golden State. Kanter got numbers in Game 1 but he also can’t stay on the floor defensively. Will the Blazers make the adjustment and take him out or will they live with his defensive flaws for his offense? I honestly don’t know. He’s still a risk in my eyes but if he plays, he’ll get numbers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Andre Iguodala (vs POR – $6,800): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.25 fantasy points against Portland. I’m not worried about Iguodala despite his below average showing in Game 1. He still gets plenty of minutes and if the Blazers adjust to take away Curry a bit more, it will open up the playmaking of Iguodala. Either way, he’s reliable for numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
