High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Zach Collins (at GS – $5,000): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16 fantasy points against Golden State. I would suspect that Collins gets more minutes in Game 2 because Kanter won’t be on the floor as long. It’s a hunch though and if I’m wrong, even at this price, Collins could under deliver. Maybe Aminu ends up getting more minutes if the Blazers go super small? That’s in play as well. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs POR – $4,000): Needs 17.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Portland. Jerebko stepped up more in Game1 but I wouldn’t count on that happening again. Looney is the more reliable option because you know he’s going to get minutes and find a way to contribute. If the Blazers go smaller, Looney can stay on the floor more than Jerebko. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Moe Harkless (at GS – $6,000): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Golden State. Harkless delivered in Game 1 and he’s one of the Blazers role players who will definitely get minutes and can find ways to contribute. He could be in for a drop-off game, which is my only concern, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
