High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Kyle Lowry (at MIL – $7,800): Needs 34.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Game 1 Lowry was not in the building and that’s hopefully a good sign for the Raptors in this series. Or is that the best you’re going to get from him and now he’ll return to his previous form? That’s the worry. But as I’ve been saying, he’s been consistent in the playoffs. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs TOR – $7,000): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Brogdon played more minutes in his second game back and he’ll likely see even more minutes in Game 2. His form will start to come around and he remains at a decent enough price compared to the rest of the field. He’s a reliable option in Game 2. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (vs TOR – $8,400): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Middleton remains a reliable option and I suspect he’ll be better in Game 2. The shooting wasn’t there for anyone on the Bucks in Game 1 but they’ll probably hit some open looks in Game 2. And Middleton is bound to knock a few more down. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
