Players costing under $8,333

Eric Bledsoe (vs TOR – $6,200): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.25 fantasy points against Toronto. The story remains the same on Bledsoe. The ceiling is high but the floor is lower. His salary has dropped and maybe he’s able to cash in with a big game. I don’t love him but if you want to take a risk at the captain position or elsewhere, he’s an option. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (vs TOR – $3,400): Needs 14.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Brogdon getting minutes has cut into Pat Connaughton and not Hill. That’s a good sign if you’re looking for a low-cost option who is guaranteed to get some minutes. He’ll get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Danny Green (at MIL – $5,200): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. The Raptors talked about getting Danny Green more involved in Game 2. So that should be a good sign and reason enough to take him. It’s up to him to get his shot going. He’s at a good price given his minutes and overall chances and a sneaky captain pick. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
