High Value Guards

Players costing under $12,000

Malcolm Brogdon (vs TOR – $9,000): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.1 fantasy points against Toronto. Brogdon is more steady than Bledsoe although with him working himself back into rhythm, his ceiling isn’t quite as high. I still like him at the price and think he’s a sneaky third pick. I definitely wouldn’t go higher than that but those who played all season, know how good Brogdon is. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (vs TOR – $10,000): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Hill didn’t take a hit in Game 1 in terms of minutes despite Brogdon getting more minutes. That’s the good news. He remains a steady hand who is at a decent enough price and will be needed to grab the higher salary guys. Diagnosis:

Danny Green (at MIL – $8,000): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.2 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Green will continue to get minutes and we know he can get hot. We also know that the Raptors want to get him more involved. All of that should mean good things for Green, although he’s still a risk if things don’t work out. At least he’s reliable in terms of minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
