High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $12,000

Brook Lopez (vs TOR – $9,000): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 57.2 fantasy points against Toronto. I thought Brook Lopez would be in for a big series because of the matchup and he proved that he could be a strong play throughout. Maybe you’re hesitant because it was just one game. But I continue to love this matchup for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marc Gasol (at MIL – $11,000): Needs 44.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I still think Serge Ibaka is going to have an impact in this series if the Raptors want to hang around. But Gasol continues to get the minutes and he’s proven to be a reliable option throughout these playoffs. As long as he keeps getting the minutes, he makes for a solid third option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (vs TOR – $9,500): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Mirotic will draw the start once again and he’s shown that he can contribute with his scoring and rebounding. Like everyone on the Bucks, I expect him to shoot better. He’s a solid low-cost option who will get minutes if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
