High Salary Guards

Players costing over $12,000

Stephen Curry (at POR – $17,000): Needs 68.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.6 fantasy points against Portland. There is no doubt about Curry. He will continue to get his points and assists because the only person who can slow down Steph Curry is Kevin Durant. And he won’t play in this series. Curry will continue to give the Blazers all the problems and if you’re taking him, he should be two at worst, but probably your top pick. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Damian Lillard (vs GS – $16,000): Needs 64.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45 fantasy points against Golden State. Lillard was better in Game 2 as he was able to find teammates better and teammates helped him out by scoring. I expect his best of the series in Game 3 but he’ll continue to have trouble with the Warriors blitzing him. He’s still Dame and he should be picked second or third in your lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

CJ McCollum (vs GS – $14,000): Needs 56.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.1 fantasy points against Golden State. McCollum looked much better in Game 2 although he was bottled up once again in the second half. He at least showed up for the first half and got com thing going, which he can hopefully build off heading into Game 3. Much like Lillard, I expect McCollum’s best game of the series in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
