High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Kyle Lowry (vs MIL – $7,600): Needs 33.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Lowry was obviously down in Game 2 because it would have been foolish to think he could replicate his Game 1 performance. But he still need enough, especially given what the Raptors got from everyone else. He remains a reliable choice given his salary and role on the team. And maybe he can pull another strong game out in Game 3 and the Raptors desperately needing a victory. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (at TOR – $7,000): Needs 30.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Brogdon is back. His minutes were around the regular season number, although slightly lower due to the blowout, and he looked fully back into rhythm. This is great news for the Bucks and bad news for Toronto. Borgdon was a consistent player all season and will continue to be a consistent option going into this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at TOR – $8,200): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.75 fantasy points against Toronto. It was a bad night for Middleton and he was about the only Milwaukee player who couldn’t get it going. That said, I’m not worried about him. The role players are probably going to struggle a bit on the road while Middleton, who is more established, will be there to bail them out. Expect a bounce back game from him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
