High Value Guards

Players costing under $8,333

Eric Bledsoe (at TOR – $6,400): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Bledsoe put up solid numbers in all categories in Game 2 but I’m down on him in Game 3. The scoring hasn’t been there and probably won’t be there on the road. And his assist numbers will likely take a hit as I don’t expect Milwaukee to knock down threes in the same way they did Game 2. He’s at a good salary given his talent and role, which is the good news. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (at TOR – $3,800): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Hill continues to roll along in the playoffs and he’s one guy that I’m not worried about the Bucks on the road. He knows what it’s like to step up in the position and we saw him do it plenty of times for the Cavaliers last year and throughout his career. He’s a nice low-cost captain pick. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Danny Green (vs MIL – $4,800): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Danny Green outperformed Khris Middleton in Game 2. So at least there’s that. He will continue to get the minutes and maybe shots go down for him at home. That’s about the only thing you can hang your hat on for Game 3 because he doesn’t seem to have it. At least the salary is good, but a guy like Hill is a much better option. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
