High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Stephen Curry (at POR – $11,200): Needs 48.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.5 fantasy points against Portland. Not much has changed with Curry. He’s still the best scorer in this series and can get hot at any time. The Blazers aren’t going to slow him down and you can stack plenty of Warriors if you go with a low-cost captain. Or you can make Curry your captain and get the extra points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Damian Lillard (vs GS – $10,200): Needs 45.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Whether it’s the injured ribs or the Warriors game plan (it’s both, but more the Warriors), Lillard just doesn’t have it going. He’s still going to get his numbers because he’s a great player but don’t expect the big scoring explosion. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

CJ McCollum (vs GS – $9,000): Needs 38.75 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Golden State. CJ picked up his game once again in Game 3 and that’s a good sign. The only real hope for the Blazers in this game is that the Warriors want the extra home game. Don’t doubt the Warriors to think like that. I still like McCollum more than Lillard simply because he’s not quite as bottled up and isn’t as injured. We don’t think. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
