DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 20, 2019
High Salary Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $8,333
Draymond Green (at POR – $10,600): Needs 48 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 67/75 fantasy points against Portland. I said from Game 1 that Draymond was going to be the top option in this series because the Blazers frontcourt has no answer for the all-around ability of Draymond. And I’ve been right. Sometimes I’m pretty smart. I continue to have no doubts about Draymond. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kevon Looney (at POR – $4,600): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.75 fantasy points against Portland. With Iguodala potentially out, Looney will continue to get the minutes for the Warriors, not that that was ever a real question considering that Durant is also hurt. As I’ve been saying about the Blazers frontcourt, they just can’t match the Warriors in terms of smarts and athleticism. Looney will continue to be a decent enough option due to minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Alfonzo McKinnie (at POR – $2,800): Needs 12.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.25 fantasy points against Portland. No Iguodala means more McKinnie. If Iguodala plays, that does change the dynamic a little bit but the Warriors will probably hold him out because, you know, why bother? McKinnie can make an impact and do a little bit of everything with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
